What started as a simple bottle packaging project quickly became a beast of its own. After coming across a political drawing of Walter Francis Scott depicted as half man/half deer, I decided to let mother nature loose.
The antlers are a real rack purchased from a local Goodwill. Unfortunately they were still attached to a large chunk of deer skull, so after making a trip to a Menard’s to purchase a small saw, the antlers were removed with much sweat (not to mention bone dust).
The idea here is that each bottle is aged 21 years, so you can drink the whiskey that was first bottled the year you were born. And it’s a very exclusive, elusive drink, perpetuating the folklore that is the ManDeer.
